Spirits of Fall

Posted on

Pinterest is a sea of ideas and images to inspire your inner Fall goddess.  While many of them area beautiful, few seem as practical as a simple Fall cocktail to spice up any gathering.  Here are a couple that have made our list of to-do's....
The French Larkspur blog's Fall cocktail includes rum, pomegranate juice and a splash of rum (we're thinking you could probably substitute if rum isn't your thing)? Plus, pomegranate juice is a super food..(just saying ;0)

Fall Cocktail

  • 1 cup apple cider
  • splash of pomegranate juice
  • splash of rum
Combine ingredients and ice in a cocktail shaker and mix.  If desired, warm apple cider and pomegranate juice first, pour in a glass, and then stir in a shot of rum and serve.

The next cocktail is by Two Tarts blog and includes vanilla, pear and vodka.  You can check out the recipe.. looks easy and delish, doesn't it?

    Vanilla, Pear & Vodka Cocktail

    • 12 oz (1.5 cups) pear juice
    • 6 ox vodka
    • 1/2 vanilla bean, seeds scraped
    • vanilla sugar for rim,
    • ice for shaking
Mix pear juice and vodka in a pitcher or shaker. Split open the vanilla bean, and scrape the seeds into the juice and vodka. Add 1 cup ice, then give it a good shake. Pour into cocktail glasses over more ice and serve with sugared rim.
